The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the “Create A Story With Us” campaign.

Dates/Eligibility:

The “Create A Story With Us” campaign (“Promotion”) begins May 1, 2023 and ends June 30, 2023 (“Promotion Period”). Promotion is open to any travel agent in the Canada and who are at least eighteen (18) years old. Employees of Atlantic City and Discover the World as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of those employees are not eligible to enter.

Agreement to Terms and Conditions:

By entering, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to (a) these Terms and (b) Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

How to Enter:

2. Travel agent opts into the promotion by completing the “Create A Story With Us” itinerary by answering the quiz and entering their first and last name, email address, and travel agency name in the designated fields and select the “submit” button.
3. Travel agent that completes the quiz can earn 1 entry (“Eligible Entry”) daily.

Other ways to win

Travel agent can complete the link to the Atlantic City Visitors Guide and enter in their first and last name, email address, and the travel agency name for 10 additional entries. The maximum number of entries per travel agent for requesting a visitors guide is 10.

Travel agent can watch the Atlantic City webinar for 10 additional entries. The maximum number of entries per travel agent for watching the webinar is 10.

Prizes-Awards-Incentives:

Grand Prize – 3-night stay in Atlantic City at one of Caesars Enertainment properties in Atlantic City. Monthly Pize - 2 x $100CAD E-Gift Card. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prizes is $950 CAD.

Selection of Winners:

Agents must complete the “Create Your Story With Us” quiz during the during the Promotion Period to be considered eligible for a prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of travel agents who have received an entry or entries into the grand prize drawing. Winner will be notified by e-mail and required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity form within ten (10) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent to claim his/her prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and selection of alternate winners. All prizes and drawing for this Promotion will be conducted by Sponsor’s agent, Discover the World in Scottsdale, AZ (“Agent”), whose decision is final in all matters relating to the giveaways. If potential winners do not respond, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Terms, prize will be forfeited, and at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate entrant may be notified.

Conditions:

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Terms; or (b) award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the operation of the Promotion, violates these Terms, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any person who seeks to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any term of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor by mail shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the owner of an entry, the authorized account holder of that code used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The Promotion is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

Release and Limitations of Liability:

By participating in this promotion, all entrants grant the promoters permission to use their details for advertising and future promotional purposes. By participating in this Promotion, the winner grants the promoters permission to use their name and likeness for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensations (except where prohibited). Winners are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this Promotion. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize is permitted by any winner. Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Select Italy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in this Promotion, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Promotion or acceptance, receipt use or misuse of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney's fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, incidental, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. By entering this Promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Disputes:

You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of New York. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New Jersey or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New Jersey.

For a listing of the names of the prize winners, send an email to judi@discovertheworld.ca. Winners’ names will be sent when the Promotion Period has concluded, and the prizes have been awarded. Requests for winners’ names must be received by July 15, 2023.
